Carlo Nübel is working as a Teaching and Research Associate at the Chair of Computational Intelligence.

He completed his bachelor’s degree in sports engineering in 2021 before transitioning to computer science, in which he earned his master’s degree in 2024. He is now pursuing a PhD in evolutionary optimization with a focus on pathfinding problems in complex environments.

His teaching activities include courses on intelligent systems, evolutionary multi-objective optimization, and computational intelligence in games, as well as the supervision of student theses and projects in these areas.

His current work aims to advance efficient optimization methods for complex real-world decision problems.
